This page explains the cookies and local storage ProPost AI uses. We keep this deliberately short because we deliberately use very little.
1. What we use
A session cookie set by our authentication provider (Auth.js) — strictly necessary to keep you signed in. Without it, you can't use the app.
A small amount of browser local storage: your theme preference (light/dark), and a timestamp for when you last dismissed the upgrade banner (so it doesn't reappear immediately). Both are functional only and never leave your browser.
2. What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics cookies. There are no cross-site trackers on ProPost AI.
3. Why there's no cookie banner
Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies (like our sign-in session) don't require consent. Since we don't set any non-essential cookies, there's nothing else to ask your permission for.
4. Managing cookies & local storage
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Clearing the session cookie will sign you out; clearing local storage will reset your theme preference and banner-dismiss state.
